It was our turn to run assembly today

We did the announcements

and we showed them our algebra art.

But most of all, they just loved our Toofa Tuffa song, and wished they could do it too!

Joshua got the principals award

We are not too young to help other children

Children in room 2 are not old enough to do the 40 hour famine so we found a different way to help.

We are focusing on intructional writing today.
We are learning to put ideas in the correct order and keep on the subject.
Mrs Shelling told us what happened to her when she did NOT follow the instruction on the hair dye packet!

Goodbye Mackenzie

Friday was a sad day for room 2. It was Mackenzie's last day. Mackenzie's grandma made us a lovely morning tea.

We hope you enjoy Christchurch Mackenize, and make lots of good friends.

Art

We combined Art with Algebra to make beautiful patterns. We practised our oral language skills by explaining to the class what we liked best about our pattern.

Sophie liked the colours and shapes. Grace liked the triangles because they had 2 colours in each shape and looked nice.

Smokey

Smokey got married with a wild rabbit. Smokey had four baby rabbits. Their names were Noodle and Fatty and Pickle and Muffin. The wild rabbit said "Are you a girl?" Smokey said "yes". The wild rabbit said "I am a boy". The wild rabbit said "Would you like to marry me?" and Smokey said "yes" and she had four babies. I have some photos of the babies.
