Te Awhina Marae

Last Thursday we went to Te Awhina Marae. It was so cool. It is a living Marae. People live there. The hall is still used by the community. With the support of the community and churches of Motueka, they looked after lots of Christchurch earthquake victims. They help local teenagers and teach them to carve.
